roosHugo Roos discusses common misunderstandings on interconnectivity between airports and seaports. These misunderstandings often arise when the logistical aspects of modal choice are neglected. Only a very small percentage of transfer between seaports and airports is direct. Therefore, when discussing airport and seaport connectivity, introduction of the logistical aspects of the flow of goods from manufacturers towards consumers is required.
