Daan de Jong MSc – Internet officer

Daan served 1,5 years on the Aerius board as internal affairs officer and president in 2003-2004. In 2006 he joined the Aerlines team to help develop Aerlines as an ‘electronic magazine’ and to promote it’s name and reach. Daan studied Political Science at the Universiteit Amsterdam and works in publishing.

Frank van Soldt MSc – Internet officer

Frank joined Aerius fall 2005, because he was looking for a challenge at a study association related to aviation. Frank has been interested in aviation since high school, because aviation is his greatest hobby. Frank van Soldt studied marketing at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam and graduated in march 2008.

Frank is very interested in online marketing and that’s why he offered Aerius/Aerlines to help with creating and maintaining the website. His vision is to make Aerlines the best recognized brand in the aviation world, on the web. Since late April 2006, he has become in charge of the Aerius Association to fully realize his vision. Currently he is involved in Aerlines Magazine responsible for all online marketing-related developments.

Willem-Jan Zondag MSc – Internet officer

Willem-Jan is an Aerius/Aerlines die-hard. He has been actively involved with Aerius since January 2001. From early 2001 until late 2002, he was secretary of the association. In Autumn 2002, he was appointed president of the board of which he resigned in Spring 2004. After leaving the Aerius board he remained active as editor-in-chief of Aerlines Magazine.

WJ has bachelor degree in Business Logistics from the Haarlem Business School and holds a Master degree in Economics from the Free University Amsterdam where he graduated early 2006 with a thesis on competition in the air cargo industry. Besides internet Officer, Willem-Jan is an active member of the editorial staff and board member at the Aerlines Magazine Foundation.

WJ is currently staff manager at Process & Policies – Special Services Benelux of TNT Express
